Message From the President
 Welcome to the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce! I hope that your visit to
our website has provided you with needed information about our member
businesses, our programs and services, and our community.
Established in April 1903, the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce has played a
vital leadership role in Anderson’s history for over 100 years. Only if we have
a crystal ball could we project what we face as an organization in the next 100
years. It is the thinkers, planners, dreamers and doers who have made this
Chamber what it is today. The innovators with the entrepreneurial spirit are the
ones who have made our Chamber an organization of opportunity. And it is these
same personal and professional characteristics that will boldly lead us into our
next century of community service.
The Chamber is no exception to when it comes to developing new tools to benefit
businesses both large and small to help optimize business operations. The
Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce and our community are poised for growth. This
Chamber is focused on meeting and exceeding our member’s expectations. We will
continue to unveil tools and solutions to help our business members excel in a
very competitive marketplace and keep them informed on issues and challenges
that our business community faces. Indeed, we plan to be around for the next 100
years because we are committed to positioning our members to continue the legacy
of success on which this community was built.
