Leadership Development & Program Manager | email@example.com
Gayla Bolt is not a native of South Carolina, but has lived in Anderson for 25 years. She has fallen in love with the area, saying "I’m proud to call it my home."
She attended Phillips College and Belhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi, and acquired a degree in Business Administration. Prior to moving to Anderson, she lived and worked in Dallas, Texas, and Atlanta, Georgia.
During my first few years in Anderson I was a very busy stay-at-home mom to four wonderful sons. Three are recent graduates of Clemson University and my youngest son will soon be attending Clemson as a freshman.
She started working with the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce in 2005. As an employee of the Chamber for the past 11 years, she's had the wonderful opportunity to get to know and work with several businesses and community leaders in Anderson County.
"The Chamber provides valuable programs and services to its members as well as the community, along with providing a strong voice for local businesses at the State level with an active public policy committee. My favorite part of my job is the knowledge that I work for an organization that plays such a vital role in the community and truly makes a difference."
My Role at the Anderson Area Chamber
As the Leadership Development and Program Manager, I help to plan and coordinate, along with the Chamber’s Leadership Anderson Board of Regents, the Chamber’s Leadership Anderson Program and Junior Leadership Anderson Program. I also work with the Chamber’s Director of Communications and Marketing in planning and coordinating events and programs throughout the year.
