    Pamela L. Christopher is the President & CEO of the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce. Christopher oversees the day-to-day operations of an 800+ business member organization which is dedicated to strengthening the business community of Anderson County through promotion, advocacy, connection, and education. She works with business partners and executives in the community to foster positive growth, facilitate positive movement, and strengthen the economic vitality of Anderson County and our region.

    Pamela Christopher is the President & CEO of the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce. Christopher oversees the day-to-day operations of an 870+ business member organization which is dedicated to strengthening the business community of Anderson County through promotion, advocacy, connection and education. Christopher works with business partners and executives in the community to foster positive growth, facilitate positive movement, and strengthen the economic vitality of Anderson County and our region. Before taking the position of President & CEO of the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce, Christopher worked as a Chamber and economic development executive to support local, regional, and state economic development efforts in three states, South Carolina, Georgia and Wisconsin. Her work focus has been in the retention and recruitment of business, streamlining processes to include business permitting, customized economic development proposals, workforce development, education and entrepreneurship initiatives, and drafting position papers and working with state and federal legislators to make a positive impact for the business community. She did so as:

    Pam is a 2004 graduate of Economic Development Institute - University of Oklahoma, 2005 graduate of the Institute for Organizational Management - University of Georgia, holds a certificate from UNC-Charlotte in both Industry Location Factors and Strategic Planning, and was awarded the Outstanding Strategic Planner by her peers.  Pam is the past President (2001) of ACCRA (American Chamber of Commerce Researchers Association), now C2ER (The Council for Community and Economic Research).  Pam formerly served on the GACCE (Georgia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives) Board of Directors, she was the GEDA (Georgia Economic Development Association) Chair of Education and Workforce Development, and subsequently the Chair of Technology Task Force. Pam is a graduate of Leadership Georgia Class of 2003 and Leadership South Carolina Class of 2018, she also has served on workforce investments boards, adult literacy boards, source water assessment plan committees, and water quality advisory committees.  Pam currently serves on the following board of directors: Anderson Area Business and Education Alliance, Anderson Sister Cities Association, CACCE (the Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives), Imagine Anderson, Innovate Anderson, Ten at the Top, and the United Way of Anderson County. Pam is a recent graduate of Leadership Anderson Class of 32, as well as a recent graduate of The Riley Institute’s South Carolina DLI (Diversity Leaders Initiative) Fall 2015 Class.  Pam is also a member of the Anderson County Woman’s Club, the Anderson County Municipal Association, and the Upstate Chamber Coalition. Pam currently volunteers her time for Meals on Wheels and the Free Clinic of Anderson County.

    In total, Pam’s economic development track record from 1990-2011 accounts for 825 successful projects that she has worked accounting for $3,691,719,255 in capital investment and 17,050 jobs created.
     
    Pam and her husband, Larry reside in Anderson. Their oldest son Larry currently resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and their youngest son Jordan and his wife Ashley reside in Anderson, South Carolina.

    Brandie works with our President & CEO to maintain our member database functions, invoice tracking, and processing to our database for our organization. She additionally plans and executes Chamber events and special programs. Brandie has direct oversight of the Business Advancement Committee and works with them to plan out our regular events like Toast ‘n Topics speaker programs, Business-2-Business leads programs, Electric City Women’s Brunch Series, and our Seminar/Education programming throughout the year.
     
     
     
  • Daisy Bryant

    Manager of Marketing and Communications

    Daisy leads and manages our communications, marketing, and public relations functions through internal and external relations. She specifically leads and operates the Chamber website and all mass communication services, generates publication materials and promotions for all departments of the Chamber, develops and manages event promotion and sponsorship recognition on the Chamber website, and maintains a strong collaborative relationship with the press/media to increase coverage for the Chamber. She issues press releases/packets when applicable, designs advertising materials, determines the placement of advertising, develops our weekly e-newsletter, and develops an annual marketing plan for the Chamber's specific programs. She leads our social media presence and all video and photography. Daisy works to ensure that our Chamber publications and programs have our unique brand.

    Investor Development Specialist

    Kai thrives on connecting businesses with local solutions. He works to build relationships in the community and build membership for the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce. Beyond the Chamber world, Kai is an avid duck hunter who finds solace in nature. He has a passion for meeting new people and attending Upstate Church.

     

     

     

  • Savannah Rose Forrester

    Communications Coordinator

    Savannah Rose is also one of the newest additions to our team. She is currently a senior at Wren High School and is a recent graduate of Junior Leadership Anderson Class 30. In her spare time, Savannah Rose enjoys running her photography business as well as being involved at her church.  She plans to attend Anderson University to major in marketing and will be assisting our marketing manager and other members of our team with various tasks.
