Carol is a native of Anderson, attended Westside High School and Anderson College. Carol has been employed with United Way of Anderson County for 16 years and currently serves as Vice-President of Resource Development.
Carol is a graduate of Francis Marion’s Non-Profit Leadership Institute, a graduate of Leadership Anderson Class 23, former member of the Board of Regents for the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce and has served as a Chamber Ambassador for 3 years. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Greater Anderson.
Carol is married to Dwain Loyd and has two daughters, Meredith and Jessica and a step-son Jeff. She is also the mother to a very spoiled Pomeranian - Barkley. She and her husband are members of Covenant Baptist Church. Carol enjoys reading and spending time outside.
