SUMMARY:23rd Annual Belton Standpipe Heritage & Arts Festival
DESCRIPTION:The excitement begins at 10:00 am October 3\, 2009 with entertainment\, games\, rides\, children's area\, exhibitions and much more continuing throughout the day.  This festival is sponsored in part by the Belton Area Partnership\, the City of Belton Hospitality Fund\, Anderson County ATAX\, and Wal-Mart.\n\n  \n\nAn open car show is a main attraction of the festival.  Cars range in type from a 1953 Corvette to a 1997 low-rider pick-up truck to a Model-T.\n\n\n\nEntertainment on one stage will provide the crowd with great music that they can sing along to\, dance to or just enjoy.\n\n\n\nEveryone becomes a performer at the Street Dance on Saturday from 6:00-9:00 pm.  The evening ends with a spectacular fireworks finale at 9:15 pm.\n\n\n\nBingo\, Classic Car Show\, Arts & Crafts\, Historical Walks\, Food\, Food\, Food\, Children's Area.
