SUMMARY:Anderson County Animal Shelter In Dire Need of Puppy Food & Blankets!
DESCRIPTION:The Anderson County Animal Shelter is in dire need of puppy food!  The shelter has already taken in close to 150 puppies since the beginning of the year and its NOT puppy season.  The shelter does not have a puppy food supply and they are scrambling to feed all of these pups on a very limited budget.  They are asking for donations of any kind of dry puppy food.  The shelter is also in need of blankets for moms and pups so they don't have to be on the concrete floors while nursing.  This shelter is 501c3\, so all donations are tax deductable.  If you are local and can foster\, it would be greatly appreciated!  A representative of the Anderson County Animal Shelter will be at the airport to accept puppy food and blanket donations.\n\n\n\nENJOY THE FESTIVITIES!  Visit with Civil Air Patrol and see their plane...let them tell you about their new Remote Control airplane project for children ages 12 -21.  There will be other unique airplanes at the airport to see as well.  Watch planes take off and land.  Children's hours are 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
