SUMMARY:Capital Projects Sales Tax Meeting
DESCRIPTION:In just a few months\, the citizens of Anderson County will make one of the most important decisions in decades that will shape our future.  They will be voting on the Capital Projects Sales Tax (CPST).\n\n\n\nIf successful\, we will invest $128 million into our roads and bridges and another $20 million into badly needed water/sewer and quality of life enhancement projects around the county.  The best part is 38% ($56M) will be paid for by visitors from outside our county.\n\n\n\nHowever\, this initiative will fail without champions to lead the charge. Every community has a stake in this\, so champions from every community are needed to promote it.\n\n\n\nYou will be given information needed to be able to explain the benefits of this initiative to your community.  Representatives from York County will be on hand to talk about what they did to make their CPST Campaign a success. In addition\, we hope to organize a fund raising effort for signs\, literature\, advertisements\, etc.\n\n \n\nWe will not have an opportunity to have another meeting until late July and time is short\, so please come and bring as many as you can.\n\n\n\nWe look forward to seeing you this Saturday\, June 28th at 10:30am..
