SUMMARY:Childrens Chairs for Charity
DESCRIPTION:This is a charity auction hosted by the women\, faculty and staff of Anderson University.  The charity auction is intended to raise funds for and increase awareness of women and children succeeding (WACS)\, a part of Anderson Interfaith Ministeries. We invite you and your friends\, co-workers\, community leaders\, and family to attend the auction\, buy some chairs\, have some fun\, but we also invite you to donate chairs and lend your talents to painting chairs.\n\n \n\nThe chairs to be auctioned will be adorable and functional\, keepsakes and gifts\, and reminders of our commitment to this program. Many chairs have been or will be hand painted. To that end\, a painting party \, sponsored by the Art Department and conducted by Art students\, will be held Friday \, February 22\, from 2:00 - 4:30 on the patio behind the Art Department. While many wielding paint brushes will be artist\, all comers of all talents are welcome.\n\n\n\nLight refreshments will be provided.\n\n\n\nTo make the Painting Party and the auction a real statement of our commitment to this program\, we invite you to donate children's chairs to be auctioned as they are or to be transformed into works of art before the bidding starts.\n\n\n\nChairs may be left in the lobby of Johnston Hall\, delivered to the patio behind the Art Department\, or picked-up\nfrom your home or office.
