SUMMARY:Color The City Color Run
DESCRIPTION:Color The City Color Run will be an exciting\, family friendly event held on Saturday\, May 18\, 2019 from 8:30am - 1pm\, with runner check-in beginning at 7:45am. The run will benefit Rejuvenate Church's Discovery Center. The Discovery Center will be a community serving organization that will reach into various avenues as it expands\, but most immediately will begin serving our community with clothing and hygiene needs.\n\n\n\nColor The City is open to all ages IF the participant is capable of completing the course with no issues. The Color The City Color Run registration tent and course entrance will begin on the grounds of Anderson Mall. The course will utilize Anderson Mall's perimeter road\, continuing around Old County Farm Blvd and finishing in the fields where the Lights of Hope are held\, it is right at a 2 mile distance. At the finish line of the event will be\, games\, inflatables\, hot-air balloon ride\, food trucks\, music and fun for everyone!\n\n\n\nThe cost of participation is $25/runner. This will include race entry\, a participants kit\, and a white Color The City t-shirt. Participants can enter for $10\, IF a bag of hygiene products (see examples below)and/or new undergarments (underwear\, socks) are donated for the Discovery Center.\n\n\n\nEvent sponsors include United Way of Anderson County\, Coca-Cola\, Cancer Association of Anderson\, Foothills Alliance\, AIM: Accept.
