DESCRIPTION:October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Safe Harbor\, a safe home for women and children who are victims of domestic violence\, is hosting an awareness walk and a candlelight vigil to honor those women who have lost their lives because of domestic violence. \n\n\n\nDomestic Violence is a serious problem not only nationally\, but right here in Anderson. Please join us in our effort to raise awareness in our community in addition to honoring victims of domestic violence. \n\n\n\nOur featured guests:\nTerence Roberts\, Mayor of Anderson\nMartin Brown\, Chief of Police\nand David L. Crenshaw\, Anderson County Sheriff. \n\n\n\nRegistration is $10 for the walk that includes a T-shirt. Registration Deadline is October 5. The Candlelight Vigil is free and will start at 7pm.
