DESCRIPTION:In Belton since 1957\, the tournament features championships in singles and doubles for junior players in five age divisions (10's\, 12's\, 14's\, 16's & 18's). It is the national qualifying tournament for junior players in South Carolina. Players who do well in the Palmetto will advance to the 9-state Southern Sectional Championships\, then hopefully to national championships. Competition venues include the Belton Tennis Center in Belton\, Cardinal Racquet Club\, Anderson and the Anderson Sports & Events Center\, Anderson.
