DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, June 20\, at 11:00 a.m.\, the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for Anderson\, South Carolina's Upstate Heat professional basketball team and help welcome two recently signed local stars\; Westside High graduate Kyreen Sadler and Anderson University standout Trey Britton to the Heat's 2nd season.\n\n\n\nThis press event will introduce local media\, dignitaries\, and business owners to the team's vision for the organization and special announcements regarding the Upstate Heat season.\n\n\n\nThe World Basketball Association (WBA) league is steadily gaining momentum as the teams are developing throughout the Southeastern states including\; Tennessee\, Georgia\, Mississippi\, and North Carolina.
