DESCRIPTION:Join Upstate Forever and the Rocky River Conservancy on Friday\, April 21 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm for a morning of invasive species management at the Rocky River Nature Park\, a 131-acre permanently protected public access park. Volunteers will learn to identify common invasive species\, effective removal techniques and will become better acquainted with the diversity of native flora found in the floodplain forest ecosystem. Participants should wear long pants and closed-toed shoes and are welcome to bring shears\, saws\, and gloves\, though gloves and tools will be provided.
