SUMMARY:September 11th Tenth Anniversary Parade
DESCRIPTION:In an effort to honor our local First Responders and in memory of the 10th Anniversary of September 11\, the United Way of Anderson County is partnering with the City of Anderson to host a 9/11 Parade.  The parade is scheduled for Sunday\, September 11\, 2011 at 3:00 pm in downtown Anderson with staging for the parade beginning at 1:00 pm.\n\n\n\nThe parade will consist of Fire\, Police\, EMS\, Veterans\, Medical personnel\, the Military and other individuals who protect us each and every day along with local High School Bands.   We would like to extend an invitation for your group to participate in the parade.\n\n\n\nRegistration is due by August 12th.\n\n\n\nTo register or for more information\, please contact Carol Loyd with the United Way of Anderson County at (864) 226-3438.
