On May 1st at 6PM the Anderson County Museum will open their exhibit for the statewide 150th anniversary commemoration of the War between the States (1861-1865). With over 15,000 visitors yearly, ACM will provide guests with an opportunity to contemplate this momentous event in an environment that is inclusive and reflective.
The Desolate Pride exhibit (presented by the Manse Jolly Camp #6) will focus on Anderson County's Civil War legacy beyond the battlefields. Our visitors will meet the Pickens and Ledbetter families as we trace the effect the war had on their lives and the aftermath on the home front in our County.
