The Christmas Star has been a holiday tradition at AnMed Health Medical Center for more than 60 years. The star is AnMed Health's gift to the community, and its lights represent those honored through the Lights for Lifeline campaign. Through the Lights for Lifeline campaign, residents give to the AnMed Health Foundation's Lifeline Fund in honor or in memory of a loved one. These donations help elderly or disabled residents to afford the Lifeline personal emergency response system. Each year, more than 100 people benefit from the Lifeline Fund.
The star lighting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the front entrance of the Medical Center. A reception will follow in the lobby. Light refreshments will be served.
