We find Peter Hoskins, a Chicago loner who meets his soul-mate in the form of insomniac/bartender/graphic designer Rita Boyle. Peter falls madly in love and plunges into wedded bliss, only to realize that the woman he married is't the woman he married. And we're not just talking figuratively, either. Rita's soul, you see, switches bodies with that of an elderly man who wanders into the newlywed's wedding reception and asks to kiss the bride. It's up to Peter to realize what has happended to his beloved and try to get her back.
