On Monday, January 30, at 9:30 a.m., the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for Panera Bread Company to celebrate the remodeling of their facility and the addition of a new drive-thru at their restaurant located at 103 Anderson Station. As part of the festivities, Panera Bread will be giving ONE free drink with the purchase of a meal at the drive-thru for a limited time.
Panera Bread Company has been providing Anderson with fantastic food and wonderful service for 8 years. Panera offers a full bakery and cafe that insures products are baked fresh daily. Existing items left at the end of the day are donated to local food banks. Most of their items are preservative and hormone free and they have been rated #1 on Zagats healthiest fast food restaurants for the past several years. Their menu changes at various times during the year to offer seasonal or new product. New menu items include breakfast sandwich options made only with egg whites. Currently, the featured breakfast sandwich is the Mediterrean Egg White sandwich. In addition, Panera has great new salads and sandwiches including the Mediterrean Salmon Salad and the Salmon Club Croissant. Panera also offers catering with great flexibility to accommodate a single person to huge groups.
