On Thursday, April 3, at 2:00 p.m., the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for Mint2 Thai &
Sushi located at 100 Station Drive in Anderson.
With 25 years of executive chef experience in Thai food, Apple has opened her newest
restaurant in Anderson, South Carolina. “We found a great opportunity in a busy shopping
center, where I can provide authentic Thai recipes,” she said. Mint2 Thai & Sushi is now
open at Anderson Station: 100 Station Drive, Anderson, SC 29621 just off I85 and
Clemson Boulevard, near Lake Hartwell. Chef Apple has restaurants in the Atlanta area,
most notably the Mint brand in Decatur near Emory University where sushi is also
served. In fact, Sushi Chef Alex Bun has a creative history behind the sushi bar, giving rise to top rated sushi rolls like the Volcano
Roll, Lobster Roll and Mint Lover’s Roll. These rolls and Mint’s extensive sushi menu is bound to be a hit in the Anderson area
which is close to Clemson, home to Clemson University. But the star in food quality has
always been from Chef Apple’s made to order sauces that tickle the tongue. “We cannot
pre-cook Thai recipes, it is always made fresh when you order,” Apple explained.
Massaman is probably the most famous cook style, gaining huge popularity in America as
well as many other curry-based dishes. Mint2 Thai & Sushi will have a soft opening during
the month of March with the ribbon cutting ceremony on April 3, 2014. Expect
grand opening celebrations in Mid-May.
