Saluda River Rally Sponsored by Grady's Great Outdoors

Saturday, June 4th - 10:00 am to 6 pm

· Revolving paddle trips from SC Kayak Fishing Club's private launch in Pickens County to Dolly Cooper Sports Complex - In Powdersville. 2.6 miles - approx 1 hour by kayak or 2 hours by tube.

· Bring your own kayaks, canoes and tubes.

· All participants are required to sign in at Dolly Cooper

· Sports Complex. Free shuttles will be available to take you to the launch site on Saturday, and/or back to your vehicle on Sunday.

· Grady's Great Outdoors will provide 25 kayaks for free use during the event Saturday. (signed release forms are required)

· Saluda River Rafting will provide 15 tubes for free use during the event Saturday. (signed release forms are required)

Sunday, June 5th - 1:00 pm

· A single-launch paddle trip from Dolly Cooper Sports Complex to the Saluda River Grill in Piedmont - 9 miles, approx. 4 hours.

· Reservations to rent kayaks for Sunday may be made at Grady's Great Outdoors prior to the event or on site on Saturday. *Tubes will not be available on Sunday

Sunday - Rally Wrap Up 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Saluda River Grill, Piedmont—BBQ and Bluegrass

Although a fee is not required to participate in the paddle trips, Area 14 Special Olympics athletes will join us on the river and accept any donations at their booth.
