The Anderson Area Chamber is offering a workshop on May 24, 2007 to help businesses determine if being certified as a Minority or Woman Owned Business would have a marketing and sales advantage.
The workshop will include types of certifications available to minority and woman owned businesses, resources on the certifications available and reasons to be certified. Participants will also have an opportunity to determine if their specific business would benefit from being certified. The workshop will be held at the Chamber from 8:00 to 11:30 am. The charge per person is $49 for Chamber Members and $59 for Non-Chamber Members.
Author and Consultant Janet Christy will conduct the workshop. Janet is the author of Capitalizing On Being Woman Owned.
