Anderson On the Go to Columbia

The Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce will be visiting Columbia on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 to enhance the awareness of issues affecting Anderson County, to learn about the legislative process and to communicate our business needs to our state legislators and agency officials in Columbia.

Scheduled speakers and topics are:

ü      Representative Ronny Townsend

ü      Governor Mark Sanford

ü      Speaker of the House Bobby Harrell

ü      The Anderson County Delegation

ü      The South Carolina Department of Commerce

ü      The South Carolina Ports Authority

ü      Property Tax Reform

ü      South Plan on Disaster Preparedness

Cost for the event is $50 for Chamber members and $75 for non-Chamber members.
