Beer Camp Across Anderson

This event is a fundraiser for AAFFA. We hope to raise funds to support our educational programs such as AAFFA Sprouts, our youth initiative. We hope you will come out for a great event and a worthy cause.

Join us for a progressive beer tour, consisting of FIVE (5) differnet locations, featuring FIFTEEN (15) special beers, and FIVE (5) local restaurants preparing dishes with produce from farms right here in our region. This event will feature all TWELVE (12) collaborations from Sierra Nevada's Beer Camp Across the World and a few selections from our local brewery, CAROLINA BAUERNHAUS ALES. Each stop will also feature a dish prepared by a local eatery made with fresh, local farm products. At the last stop, participants will enjoy live music and a raffle for fabulous prizes, including a visit (for 2) to the Sierra Nevada Brewery in Mills River, NC.

Stops will include:

1. Church Street Heitage Park with Mellow Mushroom 

Food: Goat Cheese & Marinara Fondue with Pretzel Bites (Featuring Split Creek Farm Chevré)

Beers: Dry Hopped Berliner Weisse , Dunkle Weisse, East Meets West IPA

2. Mr. Rivers Breakfast Joint 

Food: Chirizo Sliders with Avacado SPread and Pico De Gallo (FeaturingWalker Century Farms Market)

Beers: Ginger Lager, Thai-Style Ice Tea Ale, White IPA with Yuzu

3. Earle Street Kitchen and Bar 

Food: Greens & Cornbread (Featuring Bio-Way Farm & Hurricane Creek Farms)

Beers: Dry Hopped Barleywine Style Ale, Atlantic-Style Vintage Ale, Raspberry Sundae Ale

4. Uptown Lounge

Food: Larry Burgers (Featuring Orchard View Meats & Hurricane Creek Tomatoes)

Beers: West Coast DIPA, Dry-Hopped Belgian Golden, Campout Porter

5. Carolina Bauernhaus Ales / McGee's Scot-Irish Pub

Food: Strawberry Shortcakes with Clotted Cream (Featuring Berry AcresStrawberries)
