Discover Anderson Class 12
The purpose of Discover Anderson is to help both newcomers and long-time residents of Anderson better understand and become a more active part of our community.
Discover Anderson introduces participants to a broad network of key government and business leaders in the area; informs and challenge participants concerning needs and opportunities in the economic, political, educational, cultural, and volunteer structures of Anderson County; develops friendships among participants which will provide a common ground for working together on community projects; and creates networking among the participants and existing community leaders.
Discover Anderson is open to anyone who lives, works, or has a business interest in Anderson County and wishes to learn more about our community. This program can also be used as a stepping stone to the more comprehensive Leadership Anderson program. Tuition for Discover Anderson is $325 which includes all materials and meals. All sessions are 4-hour sessions held at 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm on scheduled Monday afternoons with the exception of Orientation and Graduation.
