Real-Life Coach Jones and ''Radio'' from the 2003 movie ''Radio'' will be appearing in person and signing autographs at the Fairplay Welcome Center

From 1-4 p.m., the real-life Coach Jones and ''Radio'' from the 2003 movie ''Radio'' will be appearing in person and signing autographs at our Welcome Center. Filmed in nearby Anderson, SC, this true story depicted the lives of T. L. Hannah High School football coach, Harold Jones (played by Ed Harris), and James Robert "Radio" Kennedy (played by Cuba Gooding), a mentally-challenged student. Don't miss it!

Coach Jones and Radio will be at the center helping us celebrate our February Theme of the Month, ''Famous African Americans from South Carolina''.
