Ribbon Cutting at Anderson Prep Preschool

On Friday, March 16, at 9:00 a.m., the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for Anderson Prep Preschool, LLC to celebrate the opening of their new school located at 1910 Commonwealth Lane in Anderson. Festivities will include refreshments, as well as free annual registration for their 2012-2013 preschool program (normally $250, and available only on Friday, March 16.)

Anderson Prep Preschool provides a blend of the Montessori and Christian teaching, which supports their philosophy to provide a stimulating environment for preschool children and to help each child develop his or her own skills according to their individual capabilities. They believe children learn and grow best in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust and when they are actively engaged in their environment. Therefore, their program strives to provide a wide range of hands-on activities that contribute to all areas of a child's growth and development. In addition, Anderson Prep Preschool offers Spanish and music throughout the week. They offer preschool programs to accommodate ages 6 weeks to Pre-K, as well as an elementary after-school program where they provide snacks, Christian stories, crafts, homework assistance, piano and many outdoor games. Their preschool program runs year long, and classes are kept to a low student-teacher ratio.
