Ribbon Cutting at Palmetto Moonshine's Second Location
On Friday, September 7, at 11:00 a.m., the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for Palmetto Moonshine to celebrate their second location at 5298 Highway 76 in Sandy Springs.
Brothers and Anderson natives, Trey and Bryan Boggs, have owned and operated local businesses for the past decade, and their latest venture is making moonshine – legally! Less than six months after opening their micro distillery in Downtown Anderson, the Boggs brothers have come up with yet another inventive business model. Palmetto Moonshine's second location will house a liquor store, gift shop, and something else our area hasn't seen before…. A zoo on the roof with live goats of all ages, a donkey, and a pig!
Just like the downtown location, Palmetto Moonshine's new liquor store will also offer free samples on a daily basis. The store will be open from 10am-7pm Monday through Friday, 9am-7pm on Saturdays, and the gift shop section will also be open from 10am-5pm on Sundays.
For the grand opening weekend, Palmetto Moonshine will have drawings for free items, Charlie T's wing wagon on site, as well as the beautiful Moonshine Girls!
