Ribbon Cutting at Sunday's Restaurant
On Tuesday, October 4, at 10:30 a.m., the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for Sunday's Restaurant to celebrate the grand opening of their new restaurant located at 1301 North Murray Avenue in Anderson. The celebration will include light refreshments prior to opening for lunch at 11:00 a.m.
The owners have been cooking all their lives and opened the restaurant to share some of their cooking secrets with their customers. Sunday's Restaurant offers an atmosphere of eating a ''Sunday meal'' with family and friends during the week. Their menu features fresh vegetables, made-from-scratch biscuits, fresh fish, ribeye steaks and sandwiches, homemade burgers and chicken salad, homemade custard and cobbler pies, homemade soups and beef stew, and their famous fall-off-the-bone Baby Back ribs. In addition to the full menu, they also offer daily specials which include fried pork chops on Tuesdays, turkey and homemade dressing on Wednesdays, and smoked chicken on Thursdays. Their weekend specialty is baked spaghetti.
