Ribbon Cutting at Visiting Angels
On Tuesday, June 5, at 2:00 p.m., the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for Visiting Angels to celebrate the opening of their new office located at 135 Straight Drive in Anderson. As part of the festivities, there will be an open house and light refreshments. With over 450 offices across the United States and Canada, Visiting Angels is an independently owned and operated franchise that provides non-medical homecare services to our aging population.
Daniel Radulescu, owner and Director of both the Greenville and Anderson locations, has over 20 years of medical experience. He opened the Greenville location of Visiting Angels in 2000, which has been serving the Upstate for 10 years. The opening of the new Anderson office will allow them to expand their services all the way to the Georgia state line. The mission of Visiting Angels is to allow seniors to maintain their independence and continue their daily routine, in familiar surroundings by remaining at home. They provide services that include: companionship, personal care, hygiene, toileting, dressing, as well as light housekeeping, meal planning/preparation, shopping, transportation for errands and appointments. All caregivers at Visiting Angels are drug screened and bonded for client safety, highly experienced to offer the best care, and personality profiled for a perfect client fit. Care can be provided for times ranging from 1 – 24 hours a day and is incredibly affordable, if not free. In addition, Visiting Angels is an integral part of the process for providing respite care for family members.
