Position hours: Full-time 7:00am -3:30pm Monday through Friday with some On Call work.
Job Duties:

• The Utilities Technician is responsible for installing, testing, maintaining, and repairing the wastewater collection system and components, and performing related technical work as required.
• Job Responsibilities: The Utilities Technician installs, maintains, and repairs wastewater systems, operates construction equipment, and ensures compliance with city standards.
• Inspection and Customer Interaction: They inspect contractor work, respond to inquiries from customers and the public, and work on-call on a rotating basis.
• Perform related work assigned.

• Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain a CDL within 6 months of hire.
• The ability to progress through Wastewater Collection Certifications.
• Additional certifications like First Aid/CPR, trenching, and confined spaces are beneficial.
