Carolina Parakeet Tea cuts the Ribbon!!

The Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of Carolina Parakeet. The ribbon cutting was be held on January 5^th at 4p.m. Their address is 2816 E. North Avenue, Anderson SC 29625.
 
Carolina Parakeet, Inc. began in 2002 selling specialty teas and gifts online at www.carolinaparakeet.com.  Later CPI began selling the tea retail at farmer’s markets, holiday fairs, and expos.  It also began selling wholesale to gift shops and coffee shops.  In October 2017 Carolina Parakeet, Inc. opened a brick and mortar facility at 2816 E. North Avenue in Anderson, SC.  The company takes its name from the now extinct only parakeet that was native to North America.  The bird serves as a preservation reminder as our mission is to preserve civility, hospitality and wellness through tea.  All three have been associated with tea for centuries and in many cultures.
