• UPSTATE FARM HOSTS EASTER EGG HUNT & SPRING BREAK FUN WITH BABY ANIMALS

Denver Downs Farm invites families to celebrate Easter and enjoy outdoor barnyard activities
ANDERSON, SC (April 6, 2022) - Denver Downs Farm, a century-old farm in Anderson, SC  known for its family-friendly entertainment, agri-tourism, and huge corn maze, is hosting their  annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 15 and 16, 2022 from 10 am - 2 pm. The farm will also be open next week (April 11-14) from Monday - Thursday from 10 am - 3 pm for kids to get out their energy outdoors with more than 20 barnyard activities like a zip line, cow train, slides, and baby animal interactions.
“Our annual Easter egg hunt is a tradition for so many families and we are so honored to be a part of that tradition as well as welcoming new families to the farm as they make memories together,” said Catherine Garrison, co-owner and special events planner at  Denver Downs. “And we are thrilled to welcome families to the farm all week to enjoy our outdoor activities and take advantage of time off from school.”
The egg hunt takes place on the sprawling 140-acre farm so kids have plenty of space to grab eggs. Egg hunts are at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, and 1:30 pm. Kids under two-years-old can hunt anytime in a designated area. Families are welcome to make a day out of the visit to the farm and enjoy baby chicks and lambs, the jumping pillow, cow train, and giant “bouncy eggs”. Tickets are $11 in advance and $12 at the gate. A special hot dog or chicken finger lunch will be available for $6.
“It’s always a pleasure to see kids running around on the farm just like my family used to do as kids ourselves,” said Garrison. “Sharing our family’s love of the outdoors, farming, history, and the holidays is such a joy and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to our farm for springtime fun!”
Tickets to the farm during Spring Break include seeing farm animals, including all the babies,  and barnyard activities such as the jumping pillow, gaga pit, giant slide, zipline, little slides,  ballzone, farmin' foosball, Little Farmer Corral, Cow Train, and Giant tricycles. Concessions and  gem mining will also be open. Tickets are $12.
